However, Trekking boots differ from backpacking boots in that they often use pieced-leather uppers, but with a softer flexing sole that makes them more comfortable. Features a proprietary Vibram MVS outsole and PU midsole. Pieced leather uppers allow for a more precise fit. Features a GORE-TEX waterproof lining and a full length soft flex trekking shank for walking comfort.
